4th of July Fireworks at Bayfront Festival Park

Hope everyone had a great Fourth of July! Sorry for this late post! I drove home from Duluth after the fireworks at around 11pm and got home at 1:30am, woke up at 6:30 for work, and almost passed out! I don’t even remember when was the last time I vacationed with the family and had this much fun! My favorite was the bike ride along the Lake walk at the Canal park with the whole family.

Day 1: I had a smoked salmon sandwich called Cajun Finn at Northern Waters Smokehaus located in the DeWitt-Seitz Marketplace building. It was by far the best sandwich I’d ever tasted in my life. At night, we went for sushi at Hanabi right near the Radisson hotel where we stayed at. Day 2, we took the Northshore scenic view trip from Duluth up to Grand Marais, had to-go lunch at Gunflint Tavern, and oh-my-goodness the food was bomb!!! We were headed to J J Aster, the restaurant located right at the top floor of the cylindrical building of the Radisson, where its floor revolved, super cool! Day 3: We walked to Canal park, had some burgers for lunch at the Canal Park Brewing Company and Taste of Saigon for dinner.

Canal park: rent a bike, walk the Lake walk, the lighthouse, feed the seagulls, antique shopping | Northern scenic view road trip (~2hours drive up north): Agate Bay Beach by Two Harbors, Gooseberry Falls State Park- 5 minutes walk to the falls, Grand Marais | Enger Tower | Leif Erickson Park & Rose Graden | Bayfront festival park for fireworks
