Happy Monday. July is here! I have a day off today (July 3rd) and am currently laying in bed, attempting to sleep in just a bit more, but my alarm was rung up like 10 times. So I woke up like normal time. I know some of you have work today. So hopefully, you have some time to get together with friends and family to celebrate the 4th. Happy Independence Day, America!

Today’s outfit pairing was inspired by sunset and the wind. Couple weeks ago when scouting for cool locations for my outfit shoot, we found this cool parking garage with an open roof top. Luckily, I was able to do two outfits here. I blogged the other shawl outfit that was shot at the same location recently. You should check it out, here. This parking garage was about a block away from the Union rooftop bar/brunch place that we initially wanted to give it a try. But we ended up opting for this free option since why not. I just brought along some extra pants and shoes that I have had for a long time, and literally, my car became my second messy room every time I was out shooting. Sometimes I even forgot I had a lot of cool stuff that I could re-wear. So here is my outfit take, inspired by the sunset and the wind featuring some amateur posings by yours truly.

OUTFIT DETAILS: top with bow: Zara (exact one, here)| pants: J-brand (very old, I’ve linked a few options at the end of this post) | pumps: Steve Madden (also very old) | necklaces: Zara

ABOUT THE OUTFIT: All white outfits are everywhere at the moment. White bottoms, especially, are a very picky clothing item that if you don’t style them right, they will age you! Here I’ve styled my old white J-brand denim with a ruffled crop top. I have added some dainty gold accessories and a pair of white pumps to tie the look together. I thought the outfit came together pretty nicely. After this shoot, I ended up returning this top because it was too loose on me. Sadly, it’s made from a weird stiff fabric that didn’t hang or linger on the skin, and the straps kept falling down. I was wearing a pair of nippies, but the straps couldn’t help but kept falling on me and exposed everything.
