Happy spring everyone,
Today’s outfit pairing is inspired by the spring, obviously! I guess thanks to a few good lighting hours this past weekend, the photos turned out great! I love how spontaneously well and last minute this outfit/makeup combo turned out to be, props to this green bodysuit number. It was actually a one piece swimsuit that I picked up at American Apparel, Mall of America, for 60% off. I layered a pair of fishnet tights underneath the ripped-knee jeans and tied the look together with a pair of Oxford shoes and the faux fur moto jacket. The green, topped with some soft sun-rays in the late afternoon, compliments the coral makeup I had going on so well! In fact, coral and green sit on the opposite sides of the color wheel, and that means they compliment and work together like a dream.
one piece swimsuit (worn as bodysuit): American Apparel | fishnets: Vero Monte (Amazon, super recommended since they came in a set of 4 different sizes and great quality) | ripped-knee jeans: Toshop’s Leigh jeans | bag: Proenza Schouler mini Elliot | Oxford shoes: Cole Haan | jacket: H&M | choker: Zara
My spring makeup product recommendations:
my trustee all-time-fav Kat Von D’s Shade + Light Eye Contour Palette
newly added Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette
Tart’s Amazonian 12-hour Clay blushes for beautiful blushes that actually stay on
And you know what’s the secret for the ultimate spring look: dewy skin and a pop of highlight!
