Happy Thursday everyone!

I hope you’re doing well. Thought I’d share the song that has been on repeat and is already saved to my wedding playlist! 😛

Are you one of those people like me that won’t wear a dress twice? I tend to not wear mine again if it’s a floral, patterned, and colorful one. That also happens with dresses that are too revealing or “too much” to be worn alone.

Solution: layer a sweater over it.

The tip is opting for a more solid, slightly oversized, and similar colored sweater like how I’ve done here. I tucked one side of the sweater right at the waist. Mine is a wrap dress, so there’s something for the sweater to hold on to. You can use a rubber band to tie a knot at the bottom of the sweater and tuck the knot inward. All with the intention of making it a part of the whole outfit and to prevent it from swallowing your figure. My dress is a floral light purple one, so I’ve layered over it with a solid, slightly slouchy, pink colored sweater. And it works like a dream.

I hope your week has been amazing, productive and fun filled. It’s been so warm here in Minnesota that I kinda neglect all of my winter clothes. Hence, this outfit pairing! I hope you’ve learned some tips in pairing different clothing items to change up your daily outfit options. And dressing for winter doesn’t have to be boring. I could easily add some tights and a jacket for warmth. Speaking of winter, it’s going to rain and snow very soon here this weekend in the Twin Cities. However, I’ll be leaving to Colorado with a few of my best friends, and of course, my boyfriend too. We’ll be cooking, skiing, stopping by a hot spring, hiking, and lots of sight-seeings, so be sure to stay tuned for a travel blog. Hopefully, I’ll come back in one piece! 🙂

Meanwhile,

stay inspired | as always
