A FLORAL EDIT
by An Trieu
Happy Friday! I have a flight to catch this evening, and I’ve already got a late start of the day. I went to sleep at around 5:30 am after finally finishing packing and doing my nails. I had to run to my aunt’s shop to fix a few things, clothes-wise of course, and I added a band of black hemming fabric to my straw hat. I saw Free People carry Lack of Color hats, that one boater straw hat with a black band, for $80. It’s sold on the Lack of Color website for $65. And could you believe that I got so close to spend $80 on that hat? So glad I didn’t. Hence, the DIY-thing happened. It took me less than 5 minutes to add that piece on to the hat. If I had the glue gun with me, it would have taken 2 minutes for that project! Pretty proud that I saved myself $80!
OUTFIT DETAILS: You guessed it! Another floral related outfit. From high street to higher end brands, floral wrap dresses or shirts are having their moment, big time! Thanks to the power of Instagram, Realization Par and Faithfull The Brand are the two major leaders who started and expanded the trend, and fashion bloggers got them spread like everywhere. I had one wrap dress outfit up last week, and you can read more about it, HERE!
floral top and skirt: MANGO (similar items, linked below! The skirt is still available and on sale for $30, below!) | orange sandals: thrifted at Savers last year
So I’m flying out to Seattle tonight, guys! My boyfriend will join me on the flight to Hawaii early morning on Saturday. And we’ll be there for about 9 days! I’m sooo excited!
Stay tuned for lots of travel bits on my Insta-stories. And of course, there will be tons of beach, sand, and the sun on my Instagram. Follow me: HERE. And OMG GUYS, THANK YOU SO MUCH! WE’VE REACHED 1K YESTERDAY, August 17, 2017. I’ll be doing a giveaway very soon. And lots, lots of exciting projects coming my way and your way! So stick around!Hope you’ve enjoyed our fun take on this outfit pairing. Kinda editorial-esque, don’t you agree? Funny that I had to the rocking back and forth like 20 times just to get a few good ones. It’s pretty spontaneous, but I’m so pleased as to how they turned out. Have a great weekend, and thank you for reading!
