Rain, Rain, Go Away! Come again another day!

Well, it’s no surprise that it rains a lot in Seattle. People are known to have seasonal disorders for its lack of sunshine, especially in the winter. Well, it is actually a myth. It does rain often but not a lot, and it rains in an instant and stops. My first encounter with Seattle rain was last spring, on my hiking trip to the Rattlesnake Ledge, you should read it, here, if you’ve missed it. During the hike, I experienced sunny weather and rainy weather within a few minutes apart. Glad that we brought this umbrella with! Last week though, it did rain almost every day. For this entire weekend ahead, you can go ahead and plug Seattle in your weather app, the weather is actually insanely gorgeous, and its temperature is in the 40-50F range.

One thing I have also learnt ever since I have moved to Seattle is that it is helpful to have an umbrella, in the car, at all time. Just in case, you know! but overall, I am thankful for having to spent winter in the Pacific northwest though. I don’t have to deal with horrible icy and dangerous driving road conditions that I used to have to deal with when I lived in the midwest. Plus I can get easy access to snow in just a little over an hour drive east of Seattle, here.
