We’re reviewing another piece of clothing from Everlane today, and it’s the Straight Leg Crop. I bought these in Golden Brown, size 00. And 00 is Everlane’s smallest size for Regular fit in these pants. I’m 5ft5, weigh 110lbs, and wear pants size 24-25, fyi!
Clearly, these Straight Leg Crop pants are well-loved as seen on the Everlane website and the review section. They have an average of 4.71 out of 5 stars and over 547 reviews. These are made from 97% cotton and 3% elastane. They come in 6 colorways: Black, Surplus (military green), Royal Blue, Faded Red, Stone (ivory off-white color, and Golden Brown.
Thanks to the 3% elastane, these give a very comfortable stretch. I love that they are very high-waisted, and the color is very appropriate for fall. I love that the fabric feels nice and high quality. The reviews were also helpful and that helped me to make a decision to go for the 00 instead of 0. They do, in fact, run big, and the 00 was even slightly too big on me. There is some wiggle room right around the front crotch area which I’m not a fan of. And the legs are cut literally straight down. On me, they look like they’re flared pants!? It’s weird since I’ve tried and owned Everlane jeans myself, and their bottoms are really true to size. I’m sure because these have different cuts and style/fit and are designed and made by different teams. I love their high-waisted jeans since the fits are amazing.
I don’t have the perkiest butt ever, but I do have prominent hip bones. My thighs are slightly bigger, so perhaps straight jeans aren’t the most flattering on my body type. I really hope I do get more wears after this New York trip since I literally have not picked these Everlane’s up ever since. Again, make sure you read the reviews and make a decision wisely based on your body type and reference. I feel like straight jeans and pants have been quite trendy lately, but they are not for everybody for sure.
Lots of the time, it’s difficult to judge the fit of something by just looking at online photos. I just remember hearing so many bloggers raving about some particular straight leg jeans and pants, especially in crop styles, and they make them look so short and so unflattering even in photos. I’ve tried so many straight leg options out there, bought a few (including these!), and ended up wearing them only once or twice. Don’t take me wrong because I genuinely love these pants so much. I do! Now I wish I got the black, stone, or navy one so that I could wear them to work.
Well, again, please make sure you order at least a size down if you ever decide to pick these pants up. Enjoy some photos shot in New York when I wore these pants out and about exploring the city for a day!

Your photos are amazing! It’s a shame that the pants didn’t fit as well as you wanted them to but I honestly think they look great on you. I’m a major fan of straight jeans so I’ll be sure to have a look at your selections 🙂

thanks Eunice! I think straight pants don’t really flatter my body type as they make me look so short! Well, at least in person! 😛 Thanks for reading!
