October Favorites 2016

October favorites, let’s roll…

1. Favorite moment: The moment that made the entire Chicago trip was when I had a chance to meet up Toan’s friends: Michelle, and her friends: Jessica and Jerry. They all have some arty edges to them and/or do something art-related, either photography, music, or in creative field. I’ve always been craving to meet arty and creative people like them for so long. If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you’ve probably noticed lots of my photos were taken by Toan. He recently has designed my blog logo, and I will have a blog post about it really soon. We hung out at a bar, did some thrift shopping, and ended up chilling at Jerry’s studio. We got to celebrate Toan’s birthday at a ramen shop in Chicago before heading out. It was overall such a cool vibe and relaxing evening ever.

2. Favorite trip: It’s when I decided to book a spontaneous ticket to the music festival with my best friend Jen, took work off, and flew to Texas last Halloween weekend. I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!! Read it more, HERE!Processed with VSCO with a6 preset

3. Favorite humans on the internetChriselle Lim and Drew Scott. I’ve been following Chriselle since day 1 when she was introduced on Youtube by Michelle Phan. Chriselle already has her own styling service-type of company and a team prior to Youtube. If I remember it correctly, Chriselle claimed her success on Youtube for having a good business plan from some consultants. Regardless, I love how her videos are really consistent and always give me a boost of inspiration very time in terms of her style and how the videos are edited (not by her!). Drew, however, is a fashion student who started his channel from scratch. Funny enough, I unsubscribed to him once a long time ago but then resubscribed to him again not too long ago. Check his channel out, you’ll see what or why I’m mentioning him this month. His style has matured into what I love to see in fashion individuals, like I wish he would be my best fashion-guy-friend or I’d steal his clothes definitely.

4. Favorite songs:

Novacane- Frank Ocean

Girl- The Internet fr. Traykanada

Glowed Up- Traykanada

JOY- Steady

5. Fashion favorite: Zara was the only store I wanted to shop in Chicago. I browsed around the shop and tried on quite a few things in a short 2-hour time span. I found these bad-ass statement jeans knowing they’re pretty much the knock-off versions of Gucci’s, tried them on, and fell in love immediately. Click here to see how I styled them.ATT 10-17-81

What have you been loving this past month? I’d love if you could share in the comment section. It’s so sad to see the leaves falling, and then it gets so dark out now due to daylight saving time change. Meanwhile, enjoy the warm weather as much as you can!!!
