→ Day 4 of my D.C/NYC travel diary started off by the early departure, and it took 4 hours driving from D.C to NYC. We booked a hotel on the go 2 hours before arriving to New York at the BORO hotel in Long Island city, about half an hour drive to Manhattan and to basically most places I wanted to visit in the short time span 2 nights and 3 days .

We ubered to the Museum of Modern Art aka the MoMA and walked about a block to get to this bright colored food stand, the Halal Guys. There was a short line, but we couldn’t help but drooling because the food smelled so good. The guy who collected the money barely smiled as I noticed the same thing in most of the waiters/waitresses here in NY…

The MoMA’s outdoor area, super bright and dreamy! This wasn’t real life as I whispered it to my friend. haha

Isn’t this just like some freaking scenery paintings depicted in old English poems and literature or what?

We then walked for about 30 minutes to Time Square from Central Park, had dinner at Tony’s Di Napoli. I had some red Sangria. We togo-ed quite a lot of food. I have had the best NYC experience/day with the best traveling partner thus far. Life is good!!!
