→ Hi there I’m back with another post featuring my D.C trip travel diary, day 2 & 3, continued…

DAY 2: Adventure to some of the Smithsonian museums.

We woke up quite late and had some brunch at the First Watch restaurant in Fairfax, Virginia, and then we headed straight to the museums. The great thing about these museums was that 19 of these were free. It took us awhile to find a parking spot, but app-paid parking made it so convenient nowadays for people to not-have-to go back to the parking lot to add more money. We visited the National Museum of Natural History and watched a 30-minute 3D movie about the National Parks. Then we were headed to the National Air and Space museum and the Art museum.

The National Air and Space museum, this one was quite possibly my least favorite museum, hah!

The U.S Capitol

The day ended so quickly when we found ourselves just sitting by the pool in front of the U.S Capitol talking and soaking up the sun. We attempted to go see a concert in a street corner a few blocks away and shopping because there was a Zara shop nearby. Craving some ramen, thanks to Yelp and google search, D.C Noodles was the place to be. I didn’t take any of the food photos, sadly, because I snap-chatted the food most of the time. FAILED! We ended the day by meeting a few of my friend’s friends clubbing until 3 a.m, and the next thing I remembered was that we didn’t even sleep until the sunrise.

DAY 3: Church and relaxing day!

We woke up quite late again, finding ourselves in traffic, but we at least managed to make it to Sunday mass. We then headed to Viettown at Eden center, had some delicious to-go Nem Nuong Cuon (Ninh Hoa version), Bun Oc (Snail Noodle Soup!), and some tasty Vietnamese Che/desserts. I was too full!!!! My friend had to head home and finish some work, so I stayed and napped for a bit. And the next thing I found myself eating again. He took me to this little parking lot where this cute little bus located and of course some yummy shaved ice and bubble tea. It wasn’t a good idea to eat dessert before dinner, haha! But then we ended up getting some more late Korean/Japanese food, lol… Yechon opens 24/7, omg!
