Happy Monday! I have a day off today, so catching up with blogging and planning more content for the blog sound just about a perfect plan. I am currently sitting at home finishing up my double shot on ice (yup, that venti size I got for free as a birthday reward from Starbucks yesterday!). It is gorgeous and sunny out today in Seattle, so I will probably go have a walk outside after this post goes live. As you can tell from the title, I am featuring a brand new handbag from a brand that if you haven’t heard or checked it out yet, you definitely should, after reading this post, of course!
The Brand was founded by Ilona Gerasimov and Lena Vasilenko in 2015. The focus is on the traditional methods of handcrafting with designs inspired by art and architecture.

I knew about Kozha Number bags about two years ago. I immediately screenshotted and took notes on the brand and titled them as “must-buy’ or ‘saving-towards-to’ on my ‘notes’ app. Hah! And finally, I am so glad and thankful to have had it in hands. The past months especially, I did repeatedly say that I would purchase the bag once I received my paycheck. And to my surprise, my boyfriend surprised me with his Kozha Number pick, THE MINI SAFE, for my birthday last Friday, February the 16th. How sweet! We had a nice pleasant dinner and did a quick stop at the Uniqlo store to check out their new U collection.
Fun facts: Kozha Number’s HQ is in Portland, Oregon, and all sales are final! My boyfriend emailed Kozha number team and asked for details prior to the purchase, and they kindly had it shipped and delivered right ton my birthday. My bag did come with a huge dust bag, well-packaged in tissue papers and plastic bags. The brand draws a lot of inspiration from art and architecture and that is strongly reflected in their handbag designs and aesthetic, I love how structural and sturdy it is. I especially love the unique tie string, not sewn on or attached to the bag any other way, and the metal ring strap detailing, and I think it is made from a rubber material. The bag is crafted in a sturdy shiny black calf leather with no lining. I love how I can wear it as a shoulder bag or hold it at its ring handles, very Chloe-like and fashion forward. The opening of the bag slightly closes when I hold it at the ring handles, a design detail that I absolutely appreciate! The only complaint is the metal clanking noise that the ring handles make when I wear it as a shoulder bag with the rubber strap on my shoulders. Also, I wish they took more effort in sealing the ends of the ring handles as I could definitely see where the metal ends meet.
