It is the East Side Baby Cabas Leather Satchel from SAINT LAURENT in Noir, black smooth calfskin leather.

If you have been following me and my blogging journey, you would know my love for designer handbags. They do not only last for a long time but also hold good resale values. To be honest, I am not really careful with my stuff, so I’d rather pay more for the quality materials and minimal designs since they stand true the test of time.

This is a small structured tote bag with handles and an adjustable removable shoulder strap. There is a removable zippered clutch that slides and fits in the front open pocket of the bag. I love the subtle ‘Saint Laurent PARIS’ logo in the front and center of the bag as well as the YSL initials on the closing side of the zipper.

A few specs in case you’re interested:

  • 9″W x 7 ¾”H x 4 ½”D.
  • 21 ¼” – 22 ¼” crossbody strap drop.
  • Pouch: 6 ½”W x 4 ½1″H x ¼”D.
  • 1.3 lb.
  • Made in Italy.
  • 100% calfskin leather.

I love that I can wear this bag multiple ways, hand-free as a cross-body or I can hold it as a top handle bag with the strap dangled on the sides. The interior is divided into two sections, very spacious, and a small compartment for cards. In addition, it has a flat base that means it can stand on its own and is super easy to store.

Not like I plan to store it bag away anytime soon! But just for future reference, a few sheets of soft tissue papers will help to hold the shape of the bag beautifully. It also comes with a dust bag and the authentification card, so I make sure to store it away. That is one important tip if you want your bag to be resold at higher value!

I bought the bag at the Nordstrom website and picked it up in-store, downtown Seattle using the Nordstrom card. You can peek at it here:

outfit details: sweater: MANGO | coat: UNIQLO +J JIL SANDER (bought used, style no longer available, similar here)| jeans: JBRAND (similar here and here) | boots: EVERLANE | hoop earrings: MANGO
