Happy first day of summer! The weather has been heavenly beautiful, and I hope you’re enjoying it as well. Sometimes, I’d wish to switch to the 8 to 4:30 work schedule rather than the current 9 to 5:30. Even in the summer when the sun sets later, it still feels so short. Going for a walk in a park, biking, relaxing by the beach, or just taking in the sunshine is only my wishful thinking. Oh, I love the sun, the heat and the energy it radiates.

Today’s look is giving me so much of that summer vacay-vibe. This look includes a few new items this season: the Zara yellow floral top with criss-cross tie at the front and the Anthropologie beach tote. If you know me by now, I rewear and style old but well-loved items that I buy years ago, such as: the white linen skorts and the suede pointy flat sandals. I bought them on sale at Banana Republic sometimes last year. If red and pink were everywhere this past spring season, white and yellow are taking over the fashion world in full force. I love how the Zara top has yellow floral details with some faded green leaves that match my sandals’ color perfectly. The tote is colorful yet its colors are in the pastel family, so together it works. I wish I owned a nude bag with gold detailings since it will most likely be my bag of choice. I bought this bag with an intention of going out to the beach and stuffing beach towel and sun-protecting gears. Again, another wishful thinking! So I ended up returning the tote since it would be a long while until I get to go to the beach.

OUTFIT DETAILS: shirt: Zara (couldn’t find online, but saw it at the store last week I was there!) | skorts and sandals: Banana Republic (bought them both last year)| tote: Emily Plaid Mesh – Anthropologie (on sale, here)
