Remember back in April when I traveled to New York? (New York blog post, here), I did have a chance to stop by a random sample sale from a British brand, called REISS, near the Grand Central. There was security, and bags needed to be checked before we even got to go in. I spent almost half an hour going through limited numbers of racks of shirts, skirts, to pants and dresses, and even shoes trying not to pump into a sea of people. I was so sure that I’d walk out without buying anything because their stuff was so expensive. This dress, however, was meant to be mine oh-my-goodness. The seams were ripped a bit since it was kinda tapered, but i got it anyways even without trying it on. It was $20 with the tag that had marker mark on it meaning it was at its final sale stage, like no one wanted it! I fixed it in a few minutes.
And yup, I wore it to my friend’s wedding this summer and an up-do added extra elegance to the whole look.
