If you are an avid fall lover like me, I’m sure you are familiar with the fall ‘usual’ colors: orange, tan, and brown, that are of nature and the colors of the trees in the fall. But let’s take a break and have a playful and colorful session today with me! There are no rules, just using what you have already had in your closet and adding a few things new with dashes of colors everywhere. Opt for softer hues and solid colored ones! I have 3 examples to show you how fall time dressing can be fun, so keep on reading!
This color combo is probably the most daring out of them all. I’m not typical in such bright and light color pairing, especially in the colder weather like fall and winter. But all of the trendy soft tones this season and the sweater and pants (what I have already had in my closet) have really pushed me out of my comfort zone. The tan color of my Staud bucket bag also goes with this color combo so nicely. I’m low-key obsessed this outfit!

This Uniqlo turtleneck sweater is a recent addition to my ever-growing turtleneck sweater collection. It is one of my Insta-famous pieces that you guys all know and love. I agree and cannot stop myself from wearing it ever since. It is surprisingly so soft, warm, and washes so well regardless of how inexpensive it is. Pants are just my H&M ones that I got last winter, so they are not available anymore. I’m sure you can easily find plaid pants everywhere! I’ll link a few alternatives to this outfit below in case you want options!

My love for deep dark colors are really going strong in the fall and winter season. Another Uniqlo turtleneck sweater, what is new? This one is not as prominently ribbed and fitted as the mustard yellow one worn above. It has s looser fit and thinner but the same washable merino wool fabric. I love how this outfit makes me feel so festive, and I’m just so ready to start the holiday. I look like a Christmas tree in this outfit, but my boyfriend does not think so. He loves me in these thigh high boots that he got me last year! We got them on sale at the Nordstrom store downtown last winter! They look bomb, fit well, and super easy to slip in and slide off my feet. My only complaint is the boots’ openings would always slide down my knees regardless of how tight I tie them. Do you own these boots and do you experience the same problem? I know these boots have been worn and well-talked about, but I still don’t get why no one has talked about this or at least I have not heard from anyone.
