Graphic T-shirt and Jeans Pairing

August is here! We’re 2/3 in the summer, and back-to-school season is just around the corner. I hope you’re getting yourself out there enjoying every last bit of sunshine before the fall season starts to sneak in. July favorites are going up on Friday, so be on the look out for that. Here is today’s outfit, shot near the Saint Paul Capitol area.

There is something about this shade of green, greenery, a yellow-based green that ‘helps our heartbeat to slow down, help us to breathe and pull ourselves away from a world tied to flat screens and immerse ourselves in the physical beauty of the natural world.” It is also the Pantone color of 2017, and they named it Greenery.

What is the PANTONE Color of the Year?

“A symbolic color selection; a color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.”

I’ve been on a hunt for the graphic Tshirts, and I’m so glad to find one at an affordable price. Urban Outfitters offers a great selection of graphic trendy Tshirts, but those I like are $40 or more. Insane! Couple weeks ago, I was shopping at Zara, per usual, and foud this white Tshirt at their Trf section. It has a green text saying ‘EXTRAORDINARY PERSONALITY’ in the Times New Roman font, my favorite word font. I thought the Tshirt was really special, so I bought it without any hesitation. The green colored words instantly caught my eyes. Seeing this lush green color on plants and trees, especially when it’s the 4-6 pm sun ray peeking through, just makes my heart so happy. Apart from sharing lots of what I wear, I’d like to tell stories, incorporate things that affect my mood and emotion, things that inspire me like art and architecture, travels, food, etc. into any fashion content I share here on the blog.

According to Pantone, Greenery is the symbolic color of new beginnings, a refreshing and revitalizing shade. Is this why I’m kind of obsessed with this color recently? This should be another hint, again, I can’t tell you much about it yet, but I’m very excited for this change. All I hope for is that it will be a smooth sailing transition. Have a productive work week and thanks for reading!
