I love hats: beanies, berets, baker boy hats, boater-styled straw hats, fedoras, fisherman hats, dad hats to name a few.

I always find it is difficult to find a style of hat or hats with bigger sizes available to fit my big head. Once I find the one, I will continue wearing it for years to come. Last weekend, I stopped by the Urban Outfitters store in downtown Seattle and walked out with two hats: this beret and this fisherman hat. I had a peek at their website, and not to my surprise, UO has been stocking up and up with their hat game! I love this camel brown one and this hybrid of a beret and a fisherman one. I love styling feminine pieces with tough and masculine ones. I pulled out one of my favorite summer mini dress from Brandy Melville, layered underneath with a sheer bodysuit and a pair of tights for warmth. Tights worn underneath a dress is a very feminine way of dressing in my opinion. In the winter time, I would occasionally opt for a pair of tights and wear them underneath a favorite summer dress if need to. Otherwise, I am a denim and t-shirt kind of girl, all the way! Here, I have toughened up the look with modern, slightly masculine pieces such as the fisherman hat, the cut-out military patent boots, and the aviator jacket. I love how the look seems so simple and understated but still interesting to look at.

Click here to see how I’ve styled the beret hat that I mentioned above.

What is your favorite hat style and how would you style yours?

the fisherman hat: Brixton (bought at Urban Outfitters here)

the dress: Brandy Melville here (more sizes, I love this highneck one and this corset styled one here)

the bodysuit (worn as top): on sale at Aritzia here, similar here

the tights: Topshop here

the boots: Jeffrey Campbell (bought on nasty Gal 3-4 years ago, love these and these!)

the bag: PS mini Elliot here

the aviator jacket: H&M (old, similar here and here)

sunglasses: Ray-ban here

Have a lovely weekend ahead! Talk soon!

I just discovered your blog and ahhh my, I am in love with it already! Your photos, style and writing are so nice. You’re so lucky that hats suit you, I definitely understand the struggle with lack of bigger sized hats. My hair is so big and curly so hats never actually stay on >.< The mesh body suit looks so good under the dress, I just bought a mesh top from Zara in the sale for £4- now I need to find something to wear it with haha.

I'm looking forward to seeing your future content!
